Kolkata: Reacting to Calcutta High Court canceling appointments of 25,753 teachers and non-teaching staff in West Bengal, Governor CV Ananda Bose said that corruption in the education system amounts to looting future generations is a sin. “…I was in two minds, whether a highly educated person, particularly the education minister, will do such a thing or not. I was shocked to find that such things have been done…With the verdict of the court, it is proved that what I heard was correct. When we do corruption in the education system it amounts to looting the future generation which is a sin that should never happen,” said Bose.
