Mark Coleman participated in the 1992 Olympics, representing the United States. In fact, he was the first UFC heavyweight champion after defeating his rival Dan Severn in 1997. He ended up runners-up in UFC 14, losing closely via decision and was later included in the UFC Hall of Fame in 2008.
