On a recent social media post, UFC legend and heavyweight champ Mark Coleman‘s daughter mentioned that he is currently fighting for his own life after saving his parents from a house fire in the Ohio area. His daughter Morgan Coleman mentioned in the post that is suffering from toxic fumes inhalation during his heroic and successful attempt at saving his parents. However, the family dog names Hammer could not be saved in this saving attempt by the UFC heavyweight legend.

In the social media post, his daughter narrated his heroic and successful attempts towards saving his parents from their Ohio home. However, he suffered from smoke inhalation and was airlifted to the nearby hospital immediately where he is currently battling for his own life. In the same post, she mentioned that her father is a hero and a true fighter. Morgan also asked everyone to pray for the UFC fighter so that he may recover at the earliest.

Mark Coleman participated in the 1992 Olympics, representing the United States. In fact, he was the first UFC heavyweight champion after defeating his rival Dan Severn in 1997. He ended up runners-up in UFC 14, losing closely via decision and was later included in the UFC Hall of Fame in 2008.

The legendary heavyweight champion also fought in the Pride Fighting Championships ring in Japan for a significant time (1999-2006) wherein he earned his repute in Asia as well. He has also been coaching UFC fighters from US and has been often spotted at legendary UFC bouts.
