“Good Riddance #OJSimpson,” Caitlyn wrote.

Caitlyn Jenner & O.J. Simpson’s History Explained

Despite making historic plays during his 11 seasons in the NFL, Simpson fell from pro-athlete grace when he was charged with the 1994 murders of his second wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman.

A jury eventually acquitted him in the criminal trial in 1995. However, a civil trial jury found him liable for the deaths in 1997. He was ordered to pay $33.5 million to the victims’ families, per AP.

So what’s Caitlyn Jenner’s beef with O.J.? At the time of Nicole’s death, Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner) was married to Kris Jenner, who was besties with Nicole. Her death caused a “very difficult time” for their family as Jenner’s ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, served on a team of lawyers representing O.J. Simpson in the trial.

During a 2021 appearance on Australia’s ‘Big Brother VIP,’ Jenner alleged that Nicole told Kris O.J. would “kill her and get away with it.”

“Obviously he did it and he got away with it, and at one point he even told Nicole, ‘I’ll kill you and get away with it because I’m O.J. Simpson,’” Caitlyn said on the show. “Then Nicole, you know, relayed that onto Kris at one point, and unfortunately she was right.”

She didn’t specify when Nicole told Kris this information. However, Caitlyn said that after O.J. was acquitted, the first thing Kris told her inside the courthouse was, “We should have listened to Nicole. She was right right from the beginning.”

A lead detective in the Nicole and Ronald case, Tom Lange, offered no comment to TMZ, saying he “simply [doesn’t] care.” While Goldman’s attorney said O.J. “died without penance.”
