Equalizer 4: Equalizer 4: Check out what we know about storyline, release date and cast

The earlier part of the Equalizer series was set in the city of Boston in the 1980s. It follows Robert McCall, a former Marine and DIA agent, as he battles it out against the Russian mafia running a human trafficking ring.
While part 3 met with huge success, it left fans wondering whether there would be a sequel. Denzel Washington had stated at the Cinemacon in 2023 that it was the end and it is highly unlikely that part 4 is happening.
Storyline
The third part ended on the southern coast of Italy with its dreaded mafia being uprooted and McCall retiring to a peaceful life as no one needed his assistance anymore. Is it the calm before the storm? Part 4 may adapt to contemporary events. It has been speculated that in this part, the Syrian terrorists who sell drugs to fund their terror activities may land in Italy to seek their revenge and McCall will be called back again to battle the dreaded terrorists.

There is also a possibility of the show opening up to the days of McCall as a Marine in the US Navy.

Release Date

Given the uncertainty over the production of this movie, we still do not have any updates regarding the release date. Cast
The cast has not been announced. However, it is likely that Washington will continue in his role as Robert. It has also been speculated that Queen Latifah may make her debut as Robyn McCall. As the production itself is uncertain, there is no concrete news on the casting.
