RRB exam refund: RRB issues exam-fee refund link for candidates to update bank details, says this is last opportunity


The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the process to refund examination fee of exam conducted in 2019.
“In continuation to RRBs Notices dated 13.04.2023, 21.04.2023 and 03.05.2023 regarding refund of examination fee against CEN RRC-01/2019, it is futher informed that refund of large number of candidates could not be done due to wrong/incomplete bank details. Hence, it has been decided to provide link to reupdate bank details as a last and final opportunity to those candidates whose refund could not be done,” RRB said in a notification.

RRB said some candidates who used Internet Banking, Credit card, UPI, or Debit Card for payment and selected the same mode for refunds may face hurdles if their account details have changed or accounts are closed. Such candidates have been advised to update their bank details through the provided link.

All candidates awaiting refunds will receive email and SMS notifications for the update process, which requires OTP authentication.

RRB said the candidates must ensure the accuracy of their bank account number and IFSC code before submission, as changes afterward will not be possible.

A direct link to regional RRB websites is available for easy access. Note that the link will be available till 5 pm of May 5, 2024.Also only one refund per bank will be permitted. Beware that incomplete and incorrect or late claims will be rejected.
