ufc 304 tom aspinall: UFC 304: Tom Aspinall slams ‘controversial’, ‘unfair’ UFC decision. Here’s why

UFC had recently announced its decision to return to UK for some upcoming matches. Now, Manchester will see the return of UFC in it’s very popular venue after a long gap since 2016, when the UFC 204 was held in Manchester Arena. This year, Manchester Arena will again see the UFC franchise coming back on July 27 with all guns blazing, as per a report on SportsBible

Why are fans angry on UFC authorities?

According to UFC President Dana White, she is excited to get back to Manchester, that too during such a good time like this current summer.
Meanwhile UFC, in order to balance the timelines between the US and UK audience, has decided to not begin the matches until 11pm local time which is quite after the usual prime viewing hours of the UK. Moreover, the main card on schedule will not happen until 3am local time which suggest that UK fans will not be able to get a full-fledged experience of UFC 304.

This matter has irked fans who want White to plan the timings accordingly so that the matches also cater to the UK audience as well.

Current interim UFC champ Aspinall slams the late scheduling

Britain-based fighter Tom Aspinall, who is also the current Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion, has slammed this decision of starting the matches late calling it a ‘terrible’ decision as viewer who wants to witness all the encounters live. In a TikTok video, Aspinall answered to fans around this UFC 304 and said that this is not fair to UK fans and even though UFC has a dominant US audience, necessary steps should have been taken in order to cater to the UK audience as well.
