Nanded Lok Sabha 2024: Date, schedule, result, party-wise candidates and other key details


Situated on the north bank of the Godavari river, Nanded has been one of key constituencies of maharastra in the past 17 Lok sabha polls in the country. An important part of the Marathwada region, the constituency has seen clash between BJP and Congress. However, in recent times, apart from the national players, regional parties have also stepped up and played a role in the electoral battle. After the implementation of the delimitation of parliamentary constituencies, Nanded Lok Sabha constituency comprises six Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) segments.

Nanded Lok Sabha 2024: Dates

The Indian Election Commission is scheduled to reveal the date for the 18th Lok Sabha elections on March 16 at 3 pm. The ECI has stated that the dates for the Lok Sabha elections and several state assembly polls will be announced simultaneously. Prataprao Patil-Chikhlikar, who is responsible for defeating political leader Ashok Chavan from Nanded has been given the chance to contest for BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Other parties in the fray for Nanded seat are still holding discussions on the candidates they will be fielding for this constituency.
