A Tornado Watch has now included the names of areas like Kansas City, Des Moines, Missouri, Iowa, along with other regions in the Midwest that may see the wrath of tornadoes or ensuing storms.

Due to the buildup of low pressure zones in the US, there is a chance of severe storms breaking out in places like Iowa, Missouri and Illinois. These regions hold crucial significance as the buildup of dangerous tornadoes may start occurring hereon, says Fox Weather.

The FOX Forecast Center will be monitoring the storms emerging from the Midwest region along the northern Arkansas, where severe weather will be seen on Tuesday and may see an extension for a couple of days.

Meanwhile, the US Government’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) wing has issued a Level 3 threat in regions of Iowa that include the likes of Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Waterloo, Des Moines, and Davenport. This alert issued by NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center is based on real-time data from satellites, researchers, weather stations and its prediction has issued a a threat that may affect almost 3 million people, according to reports.
