‘Elsbeth’: CBS to drop two episodes back-to-back. Know release date, plot, star ensemble and where to watch

CBS was encouraged after the ‘Elsbeth‘ premiere received more than 8 million viewers. So, they decided to return with more episodes and after a five-week hiatus, Michelle King-created crime drama will return soon and will have back-to-back episodes to crack the murder mystery. ‘Elsbeth’ stars Carrie Preston, Wendell Pierce, and Carra Patterson took to Instagram to announce that the comedy-drama will be making a “supersized” return. They wrote in a post, “We’ve got a SUPERSIZED surprise! 🎉 Two #Elsbeth episodes in one night ✌️ Mark your calendars for Thursday, April 4 at 9/8c on @cbstv!”

According to ‘Collider’, CBS Television Network will release two episodes on April 4, the first at 9:00 p.m. and the second at 11:00 p.m. ET. The upcoming episodes will also be available for streaming on Paramount+ the next day.

What happens in ‘Elsbeth’?

According to CBS’ report, the second episode, titled ‘A Classic New York Character’, will see Elsbeth (Preston) and Kaya (Patterson) digging deeper after a cooperative board president (played by Lavin) fell off a balcony and died. It will also feature Krakowski as Manhattan real estate broker Joann.

In the third episode titled, “Reality Shock,” they deep drive further to investigate the circumstances around the death of a reality TV star to determine if it was an accident or murder.
They meet Skip Mason, the producer of the show ‘Lavish Ladies’ and find him a prime suspect.
