The AAP party sees “Ram Rajya” as a governance model that prioritizes the welfare of the poor, providing them with free and high-quality healthcare, education, and other essential services.
Delhi Finance Minister Atishi sought the blessings of Manish Sisodia’s mother and wife, senior AAP leaders, before presenting the budget on Monday. Sisodia, the former deputy chief minister, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on February 26 in connection with the excise policy case. Following his resignation from the cabinet, Kailash Gahlot had presented the budget last year. Atishi, who joined the Cabinet in March last year, will present her first budget in the Delhi assembly. She expressed her sentiments in a post on X, stating, “Every year from 2015 to 2022, I had heard Manish ji’s budget speech. Today, in his absence, when I am going to present the budget, I sought the blessings of Manish ji’s mother and wife.”
