74th ACE Eddie Awards: The full list. ‘Oppenheimer’, ‘The Holdovers’ among winners

The 74th ACE Eddie Awards were announced live on Sunday in a ceremony at UCLA’s Royce Hall. ‘Oppenheimer‘ won the Best Edited Feature Film (Dramatic) honor while ‘The Holdovers‘ received the top Best Edited Feature Film (Comedy) award, reports ‘Variety’. Jennifer Lame edited ‘Oppenheimer’ which has won many laurels at the SAG Awards, PGA, and DGA, for director Christopher Nolan, BAFTA, and more. This award puts ‘Oppenheimer’ and ‘The Holdovers’ in frontrunner status in the Best Film Editing Oscar race, for which both are nominated, along with ‘Anatomy of a Fall’, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ and ‘Poor Things’.

It is interesting to note that the Eddie winner for theatrical drama has gone on to win the Academy Award for Best Editing 13 of 23 times. In a twist, it was the Eddies’ 2023 comedy winner, ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’, that received the Oscar.
