Chanel Iman and Davon Godchaux have tied the knot less than a year after revealing their engagement. As The Shade Room previously reported, Godchaux popped the big question to Iman in May 2023.

More Details Regarding The Couple’s Wedding Ceremony
According to VOGUE, the couple had a civil ceremony on January 10. Then, on Saturday, February 24, Iman and Godchaux eloped on a yacht called the Parillion while sailing the Caribbean Sea.
“We couldn’t wait for football season to be over so we can complete our union,” Iman told the outlet. “We planned the wedding the way we desired —doing something together that we love with our kids and our blended family. This was our ideal, dream day. A handful of people attended the wedding—including my best friend and soul sister, Heidy De la Rosa—and we chartered a yacht to sail from island to island in the Caribbean Sea.”
As The Shade Room previously reported, Iman and Godchaux welcomed their first child together, Capri Summer, in September 2023. In addition, Iman is a mother to two girls whom she shares with her ex-husband, Sterling Shephard. Meanwhile, Godchaux is a father to a son from a previous relationship.
“Family is everything to me and having my three girls by my side was so special,” Iman explained. “Cali and Cassie were so excited in the weeks leading up to the wedding. My daughters hold a special place in my heart and sharing this moment with them was priceless.”
According to Iman, the overseas trip left her family with “incredible memories” that they now plan to make the excursion annually.
“We laughed, we cried, we danced—and made incredible memories together. The trip actually moved us and inspired us to do this annually with our family,” she said. “We celebrated for three days on our charter — island hopping and making stops at beach clubs, where it all started.”
The outlet notes that Godchaux’s son was unable to attend the ceremony. However, Iman says that the family is looking forward to “celebrating our union with him all together at a later date this year [though].”

A Brief Recap Of The Couple’s Romance
As The Shade Room previously reported, in early May 2023, Iman and Godchaux revealed they were expecting their first child together. By the end of that month, the couple not only shared that they were expecting a girl but had also got engaged during their baby moon in Capri, Italy, per The Shade Room.
On September 19, Iman gave birth to their daughter, whom they named after their baby moon location.
