Trisha Goddard shares untreatable diagnosis of breast cancer


Trisha Goddard, former Dancing on Ice contestant has disclosed that she has been diagnosed with untreatable breast cancer. At the time of an interview in Hello magazine, the TV presenter made the explanation that she had got the news nearly 19 months ago, however currently has decided to speak out since she does not wish to be lying about her disease any longer.

Goddard said she could not keep on lying and continue concocting stories. She further continued that it reaches a stage after a year and a half when secret keeping is more of a load than anything else. She also shared that she is anxious and it requires to be done.

When was Goddard diagnosed with breast cancer?

Goddard had initially been diagnosed with breast cancer in the year 2008 and has since then had the learning that the illness has made a return after going through the fall treatment.

The former host of a chat show has been diagnosed with a secondary breast cancer also called stage 4 cancer or metastatic after the discovery of cancer cells in her right hip bone. The options for treatment are accessible for the disease, however there is no remedy.

She has further continued that it is not going to be moving away and with that understanding comes terror and sorrow. However, she is compelled to gain enjoyment from what she has always liked.

Goddard further explained that she does not wish to be “a poster girl for cancer” including that she did not wish to be narrated with words such as “terminal” “battling” or “dying”.
