NIA and other agencies apprehended Abdul Matheen Taha and Mussavir Hussain Shazeb, suspects in the Rameswaram Cafe blast case, from Kanthi, West Bengal, on April 12, 2024. The operation was supported by the central intelligence agencies and state police agencies of West Bengal, Telangana, Karnataka, and Kerala. The West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, praised the state police for their prompt action in apprehending the accused.
