In this video I explore the “Tredegar Iron Works” on the banks of the James River located in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. The old iron works are now the site of “The American Civil War Museum” as well as the Headquarters for the National Park Service’s, Richmond Unit. This museum is packed with a wide variety of American Civil War artifacts as well as many personal effects of Confederate General Robert E. Lee and J.E.B. Stewart.
