I Found The Lord (DVD) – The Virginia Aires, "The Journey"

The Virginia Aires “The Journey” (CD/DVD Combo) Released: Sept. 14, 2017
A gospel harmony group from Chesapeake, Virginia whose music puts a contemporary energy behind the heartfelt message of classic gospel, the Virginia Aires were formed in 1981 by Pastor Rodney “The Mailman” Mills, who is also the founder of Solid Rock Worldwide Outreach Ministries. The earliest edition of the group was a nine-man band with both singers and instrumentalists, and they made their recorded debut with the album Come Too Far to Turn Around. However, with the passage of time the Virginia Aires evolved into a vocal ensemble, and it was in the 21st century that the group began to step up from local popularity to national prominence. The group’s breakthrough came with the 2004 release Live in the Country, which earned strong reviews and respectable sales in the gospel market, and the Virginia Aires returned with a sequel in 2006, Live in the Country 2, which found them growing from a quartet to a quintet. A third live release, The Virginia Aires Live, followed in 2010. In 2015, the Virginia Aires, back to a foursome, made a positive impression on gospel radio with the single “You Should Have Been There.”
