In a surprising turn of events, a confrontation reportedly broke out between BJP spokesperson and Supreme Court lawyer Gaurav Bhatia and the lawyers present at the court premises in Surajpur District Court, Greater Noida. As a lawyer himself, Bhatia’s presence amidst an ongoing strike sparked heated confrontation with local lawyers, escalating tensions within the court premises.

A lawyers’ strike is going on at the Gautam Buddha Nagar district court in Greater Noida in protest against an FIR filed by the police against the father of a lawyer over a certain case, fueling discontent among the legal practitioners.

Reports suggest that Bhatia was at the court to plead for a case related to YouTuber Elvish Yadav. The situation intensified when some lawyers objected to Bhatia’s presence at the court while a strike is going on. The led to a confrontation between Bhatia and lawyer. The police were called to ensure Bhatia’s safe exit under strict security measures.

Elvish Yadav case

Recently, Noida Police has arrested two more accused in relation to Elvish Yadav case. Originally from Haryana, Ishwar and Vinay were arrested by Noida Commissionerate Police after interrogation. YouTuber Elvish Yadav and five others have already been caught in the case. As per reports, few more arrests are likely to happen as the police is preparing to file a charge-sheet in this case. During the investigation by Noida Police, several big names could also be summoned for questioning. A total of seven accused, including Elvish, have been arrested so far. Among them, five accused have already been granted bail.

The bail application of Elvish Yadav could not be heard on Tuesday and was scheduled for today, Wednesday. But since lawyers were on strike on Tuesday, no hearing could take place in the case.
