Virginia’s 2022-23 campaign got started with a home win over NC Central, 73-61. The Cavaliers were +10 on the backboards and shot 44% from 3-point land. Armaan Franklin had a strong night, picking up 21 points and 4 rebounds. Reece Beekman and Kadin Shedrick had 10 points each in the win.
