Sexyy Red Shows Off Her New Look
On Tuesday, April 2, Sexyy Red took to Instagram to share a video with fans. In the clip, the rapper rocked a scarf around the edges of her hair and appeared to be rocking a black cape.
Additionally, the rapper’s signature long red tresses appeared to have been replaced by a short, black, pixie look.
A few hours later, Sexyy Red returned to the platform to share photos of her final look. Red now appears to be rocking a black pixie cut that shows off her curls.
Additionally, In the caption of her post, the rapper added brief words:
“BETTY BOOP 🍒,” she wrote.

The Rapper Recently Shut Down Speculation About Her Career & Relationship With Drake
Although Sexyy Red is now making headlines for her new look, earlier this week the rapper made headlines for speculation about her career. As The Shade Room previously reported, during a recent episode of ‘The Joe Budden Podcast,’ Red was mentioned alongside Drake.
“It sounds like a n***a that could rap at that level that gets paid off of everybody’s deal — trying to rap,” Budden said, referring to Drake.
As the podcaster continued, he made it clear that his theory applies to Drake’s relationship with Sexyy Red.
“Oh, so you think he just likes being around Sexyy Red that much?” Budden continued. “…I could name some more people.”
Then, on Monday, April 1, Sexyy Red shut down the podcaster’s speculation that Drake is getting paid off her business deals.
“They so dumb,” she wrote while reposting the video clip of Budden and his castmates on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Additionally, Red later returned to the platform to share a video of her and Drake with a brief caption of additional words for Budden.
