Nithin Kamath stroke reason: Zerodha’s Nithin Kamath has big advice for all fitness enthusiasts in his mild stroke announcement

In a shocking announcement, Zerodha founder Nithin Kamath today revealed that he encountered a “mild stroke” approximately six weeks ago. While Kamath did not pinpoint a specific cause, he speculated that a combination of factors might have contributed to the episode.

Kamath described experiencing symptoms such as facial drooping and difficulties with reading and writing. He mentioned that his recovery process could span from three to six months. Reflecting on his condition, Kamath shared, “Around 6 weeks ago, I had a mild stroke out of the blue. Dad passing away, poor sleep, exhaustion, dehydration, and overworking out —any of these could be possible reasons.”

Expressing his initial disbelief at being affected despite maintaining fitness, Kamath shared insights from his doctor about the possible reason behind his condition, highlighting the significance of recognizing when to ease off strenuous activities. He acknowledged feeling “slightly broken” but remained committed to his fitness regimen.

Kamath has been pretty vocal about healthy lifestyle

Kamath has been a very vocal advocate for a healthy lifestyle. Through initiatives like Rainmatter, the Kamath family foundation, is well known for supporting endeavors promoting healthier choices among Indians.

Previously, Kamath emphasized the importance of strength training for overall health. He lamented the low engagement in gym workouts among Indians and advocated for greater focus on strength training.

Last year on this birthday, he also shared his photo of six pack abs in gym. Kamath shared a pic with the caption: “Turned 44 today at 14.3% body fat, the lowest I have been. Sharing publicly for accountability, so I don’t slack and revert back to the mean, and maybe inspire a few folks and remind that age is just a number.”

Additionally, Kamath underscored the value of morning workouts, citing its positive impact on food choices throughout the day. He shared his personal routine, highlighting its significance in his relationship with his wife, Seema, a cancer survivor.

Earlier, Kamath had also urged individuals to prioritize regular check-ups as a preventive measure against health issues, recognizing that perfect health remains elusive despite financial resources.
