Here’s What Gypsy Rose Revealed
On Thursday, April 4, PEOPLE published an exclusive interview with the 32-year-old. Rose revealed that she is going through a “personal transformation journey,” which will also include a “physical one, too.”
According to the outlet, Rose revealed that she’ll be undergoing rhinoplasty surgery. The surgery is reportedly intended to “change the shape and appearance of her nose.”
“I’m going through a personal transformation journey currently, and that includes a physical one, too,” Rose told the outlet. “Wish me luck with my surgery and watch the whole thing this summer on ‘Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.’”
In addition, the outlet also spoke with Rose’s close friend, Nadiya Vizier. Vizier reportedly shared more information about Rose’s desire to undergo cosmetic surgery.
“She said she’s a bit nervous, but she’s happy it’s going to be done,” Vizier explained. “The main thing is that she wanted a more feminine-looking nose. She just wants to fix it up and give it a more feminine look.”
Vizier hopes that the public will let Rose “live.”
“My main message is to just, people need to let her live, let her experience, if they know that she’s doing something good or wrong, let her experience that,” Vizier added. “Let her learn from it. I feel like in a way, people are still trying to control her.”
According to PEOPLE, Rose will undergo her surgery on Friday, April 5, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Furthermore, Vizier explained that Rose will be “resting for about two weeks” after the procedure.
The 32-Year-Old Recently Shared A Major Update With Her Husband
As The Shade Room previously reported, Rose made headlines last week after sharing a major update regarding her marriage. The 32-year-old shared that she and her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, were “going through a separation.”
“People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou. I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am,” Rose reportedly wrote via a private Facebook account.
Here’s What Gypsy Rose Has Been Up To Since Revealing The Separation
At this time, it remains unclear whether Rose or Anderson will file for divorce. However, the 32-year-old was recently spotted with her ex-fiancé Ken Urker earlier this week.
“They’re very cool,” Urker’s mother, Raina Williams, reportedly told PEOPLE. “Ken is just being a supportive friend to her.”
According to TMZ, Rose and Urker traveled to New Orleans and even took the time to get matching tattoos.
