USS Monitor, CSS Virginia and Battle of Hampton Roads



A short video produced by the Hampton Roads Naval Museum which sheds some light on the USS Monitor, an Ironclad warship that engaged the CSS Virginia during the Battle of Hampton Roads in 1862. That engagement forever changed the face of naval warfare. This segment features Museum Educator, AJ Orlikoff narrating the segment, along with organic B-roll footage along with graphics, animation and archived b-roll.
