also flagged service issues on Downdetector, Verizon suggested reports from its customers were due to problems contacting those on AT&T’s network.

“Verizon’s network is operating normally,” a spokesperson said. “Some customers experienced issues this morning when calling or texting with customers served by another carrier.”

T-Mobile didn’t respond to a MarketWatch request for comment. A Reuters report said T-Mobile also said its network was operating properly and that issues were related to contacting customers not on that network.
