Virginia Tech vs. Virginia: The Hokies had two shots to take the lead on the final possession, but the Cavaliers walked away with the 54-52 victory. Virginia benefited greatly from their work getting second chance points, outscoring Virginia Tech 18-2 in that category. Francisco Caffaro had a career night for UVA, scoring 16 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the win. Armaan Franklin had 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists for Virginia. Keve Aluma tried his best to will the Hokies to victory. Aluma had 22 points, six rebounds, three assists, and a block.
